I’ve been considering writing my first book, but I’m unsure whether hiring a self publishing consultant is worth it. Can they really help streamline the process, or is it something most authors can figure out on their own? What factors should I consider before deciding to work with one? I’d love to hear from writers who’ve had firsthand experience did a consultant actually make a difference in your publishing journey, or was it more guidance than necessity?
